The 2026 OK Dinghy World Championship is being held at Skovshoved Harbour, hosted by the Royal Danish YC (KDY and Hellerup Sejlklub. Ten races are scheduled from 5-12 June. 207 sailors from 14 nations have entered.
The start of the OK Dinghy – 70 years ago
The 2026 World Championship in Denmark, brings the class full circle, 70 years after the first boat was launched by its designer Knud Olsen, in Bandholm in the south of the country.

Hellerup Sejlklub (HS), the Royal Danish Yacht Club (KDY), and the OK Dinghy International Association (OKDIA) are thrilled to welcome you to beautiful Skovshoved Harbour for the 2026 OK Dinghy World Championship.
Equipment Inspection Form
All competitors for the 2026 OK Dinghy World Championship are REQUIRED to provide the following information on the equipment that they intend to use at the event. Please complete this form before 1800 4th June 2026 CET.
If any information is unknown please type UNKNOWN. For charter boats, if the information is unknown please type CHARTER. Any unknown information will need to be reported to the registration desk before an entry can be completed.

The Notice of Race is being prepared and is expected to be published later this year.
Meanwhile there is an expression of interest form which is very useful for organisers to plan ahead. An entry of 120-180 is expected.
